The connection of spiritual wellness to mental and physical wellness would be a foundation needs to be built in order for a person to connect with with. This to me means that I can be at peace with myself. Especially when I am stressed and I need to take the time to tune out and get involved with my inner self and it will make my day so much better and then I would be so much better to be around.

I completely agree! This was a much more enjoyable exercise that seemed to be of less struggle and more relaxation. I can't imagine trying to do any kind of meditation or relaxation with kids around, some people are able to focus on something with other distractions around but I find myself needing complete silence. Inner peace and being able to FIND inner peace among the chaos life can bring is golden. Glad you are able to do that :) Wishing you well and hope you're off to a great week :)

That's good this exercise worked for you and you were more relaxed than the last exercise we completed. I also think that this exercise was more relaxing and we weren't focused on another person. The subtle mind exercise was more about learning to train our mind's and understanding how to do just that. I am really looking forward to doing other exercises. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteIt is always a good thing when we find an exercise to help us deal with our children in a calmer manner. Long before I started practicing yoga and meditation, whenever I became stressed I would initiate deep breathing, and it would help me calm down. No doubt it is one of the most natural ways to relieve the body of stress.
